Each year about 60 billion pieces of Lego are made - enough if placed end to end, to reach the moon and halfway back to the earth! Within 5-10 years most of the children who had Lego will no longer be using it and most likely would love it to go to another family to be loved once again.

That's where we come in!

DONATIONS

We accept donations of gently loved Lego, which will be processed and given to families and kid-centered organizations as Lego grants. We prioritize providing grants to those who couldn't afford to buy Lego themselves and who could most benefit from the colourful joy that is Lego.

INSPIRE CREATIVITY

Our Lego videos and programs are designed to encourage, inspire, and challenge the creativity of Lego builders young and less young.

More information about our Lego programs will be available soon!

DONATE LEGO IN CANADA

We accept all Lego and Duplo pieces, whether it is still built as sets or loose pieces. We also accept Lego instructions and boxes (in the GVA) as giving a full set with instructions is great!

To get your donation to us simply do the following:

In the Greater Vancouver Area:

Drop-off your donation in a box or bag at either:

Hastings Community Centre  (care of TJ Shukla, the Community Youth Worker)

3096 E Hastings St, Vancouver

Sharewares

Other parts of Canada:

  1. Break the Lego down a bit so it fits more easily in a box.

  2. Put the Lego in a box - cube boxes are cheaper and one heavier box is cheaper than multiple lighter boxes.

  3. If you are sending a box that isn't full, use old newspapers or other fillers to stop the box from being crushed. Also, tape the box well if you are sending over 10lbs of Lego, including the bottom and top edges.

  4. Send via Canada Post - support Canada!

Donations can be mailed, or dropped off to:
